About The Position

As a Resort Experience Host, you will be responsible for curating engaging activities and ensuring guests have an unforgettable stay. You will demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members. This role involves conducting a diverse range of activities for both adults and children, actively participating in special events, and proposing new activity ideas to enrich guest stays. You will also maintain a daily log, manage monetary transactions, perform duties of an Activities Attendant when needed, utilize computer skills for equipment check-outs, enforce safety regulations, keep activity areas clean and organized, and assist with inventory management.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and guests.
• High energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to delivering excellent service.
• Ability to move and lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license to operate company golf carts.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
• Applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate (except where prohibited by law).

Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of activities for both adults and children.
• Actively participate in all special events to elevate guest experiences.
• Propose and develop ongoing activity ideas to enrich guest stays.
• Maintain a detailed daily log and track guest participation.
• Manage monetary transactions and uphold accounting procedures.
• Perform duties equivalent to an Activities Attendant when required.
• Utilize computer skills for equipment check-outs to resort guests.
• Enforce safety regulations and guidelines for guest welfare.
• Keep the Activities Center, boat dock, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Assist in inventory management as needed.
