About The Position

The Arc Erie County NY is a leading nonprofit supporting people with developmental & intellectual disabilities across Western New York, through innovative residential, educational, clinical and employment services. This position oversees the care and support of residents in a residential setting, ensuring individual needs are met, and facilitating the development and implementation of care plans. The role involves guiding and supporting team members to provide quality care, ensuring resident needs are addressed in their care plans, and leading team meetings to discuss resident progress and treatment plans.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree PLUS one year full-time paid direct service experience in the Human Services field OR Associate’s degree PLUS three years full-time paid direct service experience in the Human Services field OR High School PLUS has five years’ full-time paid direct service experience in the Human Services field.
Medication Administration and First Aid Certification, CPR, and Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention-Revised training (SCIP) must be taken as provided by the agency within 90 days of hire and maintained.
A valid NYS driver's license and approved driving record.

Responsibilities

Guide and support team members, ensuring they provide quality care and adhere to established policies and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring that each resident's unique needs are addressed in their care plans.
Leads and participates in team meetings to discuss resident progress, treatment plans, and address any concerns.
