About The Position

NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is seeking a full-time Residential Supervisor for its Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) in Westborough, MA. The IRTPs are short-term locked facilities serving male and female youth referred through the Department of Mental Health (DMH). These programs provide vigorous treatment in a locked setting for adolescents with serious mental illness and/or severe emotional and/or behavioral disturbances who cannot be safely treated in less restrictive settings. The programs are highly resourced with trained staff including child psychiatry, nursing, occupational therapy, clinical services, in-house education, and therapeutic milieu. The role requires dedicated and qualified candidates with strong leadership skills to provide direct care to youth within the program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• At least one year of residential counselor experience working with a similar population.
• Candidate must have the ability to work days, nights and weekends.
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle is a must.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of Youth Counselors.
• Running structured program shifts.
• Administrative oversight of daily tasks and procures.
