About The Position

The Residential Specialist provides direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment, using a person-centered approach to support daily participation, choice-making, and independence. The role is based in Lemon Grove and is scheduled Thursday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The stated pay range is $20.00 to $20.65.

The position includes hands-on support with daily activities and personal care, encouragement toward personal goals, and helping maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment. DailyPay is available through Dayforce Wallet.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid California driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Compassionate, adaptable, responsible, and reliable, with a genuine interest in helping others.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills and ability to work as a team player.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience using case management systems; Therap is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities, including personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, dressing and undressing, mobility, and personal organization.
• Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
