About The Position
Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment, using a person-centered approach that empowers clients to engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence. The role is located in Lemon Grove and is scheduled Thursday through Saturday, 7 AM to 3 PM. Pay is $20.00 to $20.65 per hour. DailyPay is available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Valid California driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
- Compassion and a genuine enjoyment of helping others.
- Adaptability and comfort working with diverse individuals in different situations.
- Teamwork, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Responsibility, reliability, and pride in creating a positive environment.
- Passion for making a difference.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience using case management systems; Therap is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, dressing and undressing, mobility, and personal organization.
- Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
