About The Position

The Residential Specialist provides direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment, using a person-centered approach to help clients engage in daily life, make choices, and gain independence. The position is based in San Diego and is scheduled Sunday through Wednesday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Pay is $20.00 to $20.65 per hour. The role includes providing hands-on support with personal care and everyday activities, encouraging individuals to work toward personal goals, and helping maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
Compassionate and genuinely enjoys helping others.
Adaptable and comfortable working with diverse individuals in different situations.
Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsible, reliable, and takes pride in creating a positive environment.
Passion for making a difference.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience using case management systems; Therap is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
Assist with daily activities, including personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, dressing and undressing, mobility, and personal organization.
Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
