About The Position

Elevate Home Services is hiring a client-focused Residential Service Electrician for its Fort Myers market. The role is for an experienced electrician who can troubleshoot and diagnose residential electrical issues, communicate clearly with homeowners, build trust, and recommend solutions that improve safety, reliability, and long-term value. Client conversations and sales are consultative: electricians educate homeowners, present options, and help them make informed decisions without high-pressure tactics.

The position offers guaranteed hourly pay or uncapped commission, whichever is greater, along with additional bonuses, spiffs, and performance incentives. Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of residential electrical service experience.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Sales or in-home service experience, with the ability to communicate options and recommendations clearly, honestly, and helpfully.
• Ability to build trust with clients and provide a strong service experience.
• Commitment to personal growth, coachability, and ongoing technical development.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.
• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and safety standards.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• People-first mindset and excellent client service skills.
• Ability to work independently while remaining efficient, accurate, and process-driven.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of residential electrical systems and components.
• Perform electrical inspections and identify safety hazards, code violations, and performance issues.
• Present repair, upgrade, and replacement options to help homeowners make informed decisions.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical panels, circuits, outlets, lighting, switches, and other residential systems.
• Perform service upgrades, panel replacements, and surge protection installations.
• Complete electrical work safely in accordance with the NEC and all local codes.
• Deliver a high-quality client experience through communication, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Educate homeowners on electrical safety, energy efficiency, and upgrade opportunities when appropriate.
