About The Position
The Residential Refuse Driver safely operates waste collection trucks and provides courteous waste removal services to customers on a designated route. Drivers interact with customers and contribute positively to their community. The role involves operating a heavy truck along assigned routes and to disposal sites, inspecting the vehicle, and ensuring customers are serviced in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities
- Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections in accordance with Company policy, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls; report safety issues on standard reports.
- Safely operate a heavy truck along the designated route and to the disposal site.
- Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer identified on the route sheet or assigned by the dispatcher or supervisor.
- Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable materials.
