Residential Real Estate - Appraiser (4827-20)
About The Position
Perform duties supporting valuation appraisal of residential property at a fair and accurate market value. This includes data collection through on-site measurements and inspections, reviewing blueprints for new construction, and applying appraisal terms, principles, and techniques. The role also involves providing testimony and conducting appraisal reviews for various legal bodies such as the Board of Revision, Board of Tax Appeal, and Court of Common Pleas. Field work will be conducted using a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement. The position requires excellent communication, analytical, and computer skills, along with a positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with the public, tax agents, and attorneys.
Requirements
- Licensed or Certified Appraiser in the State of Ohio
- Experience providing testimony to support opinion of value
- Review appraisal work
- Excellent communication, analytical and computer skills
- Positive can-do attitude
Responsibilities
- Perform duties supporting valuation appraisal of residential property at a fair and accurate market value
- Data collection by conducting on-site measurements and inspections including new construction and review of blueprints
- Provide testimony for the Board of Revision, Board of Tax Appeal and Court of Common Pleas
- Appraisal review for purposes of Board of Revision, Board of Tax Appeal and Court of Common Pleas
- Perform field work in your own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement)
- Application of appraisal terms, principles and techniques
- Possess the skills to interact with the public, tax agents and attorneys
