About The Position

We are one of the largest scattered site property managers in Chicago, seeking a leader who thrives in a controlled chaos environment. This role involves leading and mentoring the Client Services Team, acting as the brand ambassador for GC Realty, resolving escalated issues, managing financial aspects of properties, client retention and acquisition, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering inter-departmental collaboration.

Requirements

3+ years managing a team in property management.
At least 5 years of Property Management experience.
Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, maintenance budgets, CRLTO, and CCRLTO.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership and complete tasks with no loose ends.
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for handling difficult conversations.
Active Illinois Broker's license.
High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Client Services Team, reinforcing a culture of ownership and responsibility.
Act as the brand ambassador for GC Realty, ensuring every interaction protects the company's reputation.
Handle escalated issues, including owner concerns and tenant situations, with speed and clarity.
Audit owner statements, track rental income, and manage arrears.
Retain current owners and contribute to growing the property portfolio.
Ensure compliance with Chicago laws regarding evictions, rental licensing, and legal documentation.
Collaborate with Leasing, Maintenance, and Accounting departments to resolve inter-departmental friction.
