About The Position

We are a growing property management company committed to maintaining high-quality residential homes and providing exceptional service to our tenants and homeowners. We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Residential Property Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the quality, safety, and appearance of our residential properties. The Residential Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance repairs, home turnovers (“unit flips”), and preparing residential homes for new tenants or occupants. This role is essential in ensuring homes are clean, functional, well-maintained, and move-in ready. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of handling a variety of maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous residential maintenance, construction, handyman, or general maintenance experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting repairs
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work including bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service skills

  • Background in construction, maintenance, carpentry and cleaning

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout residential homes and properties
  • Complete home turnovers, including preparing vacant homes for new residents
  • Conduct painting, drywall repairs, flooring touch-ups, and basic carpentry work
  • Perform plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, and unclogging drains
  • Troubleshoot and complete minor electrical repairs and fixture replacements
  • Assist with appliance installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Ensure homes are clean, functional, and move-in ready
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain property exteriors, yards, garages, and common areas as needed
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections
  • Follow all company safety procedures and property standards
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory
  • Work collaboratively with property management staff and outside vendors when necessary
