Residential Property Inspector - Burlington, IA
About The Position
CrimsonBlu is seeking motivated, detail-oriented business owners or independent contractors in Burlington, Iowa, to complete residential property underwriting inspections. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. Contractors control how and when they complete accepted jobs, may work with other companies at the same time, and are responsible for their own taxes and applicable business insurance. They set their own hours, build their own route, and are paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis. The estimated workload is one working day per week, or four days per month. Jobs are generally available during daylight hours Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays, based on customer expectations; contractors choose which days to work and how many jobs to accept.
Requirements
- Be a motivated, detail-oriented business owner or independent contractor.
- Provide your own taxes and any applicable business insurance.
- Use a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs.
Responsibilities
- Travel to properties to complete accepted exterior and occasional interior underwriting inspections.
- Have a brief, professional conversation with homeowners to explain the inspection.
- Capture required photos and data through the mobile web application.
- Use a camera pole to take roof photos on applicable jobs.
- Schedule appointments for interior and high-value inspections.
- Deliver accurate, timely, professional service and communicate clearly.
