About The Position

Hallway Plumbing is one of the fastest-growing plumbing contractors in Atlanta. We deliver high-quality, high-integrity plumbing services for new construction and service maintenance projects across the Southeast. This role is for a Residential Project QC. Requirements

• A minimum high school diploma/GED equivalent is required for this position.
• Construction/plumbing experience preferred but not required.
• This person must possess a high level of written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to read plans, use a level, measuring tape, and hand tools.
• Must possess the ability to learn plumbing code and obtain journeyman plumbing license.
• Basic skillset utilizing computer programs such as Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook are required.
• Possesses exceptional interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization and across functional teams.
• Must be able to multi-task and proceed with objectives under limited or no supervision.
• Lifts up to 25 pounds from the floor to waist level and able to carry such objects for at least 50 feet.
• Capable of driving and taking various forms of transportation to get to job sites.

Nice To Haves

• College education preferred.
• Construction/plumbing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Walk projects for QC issues of plumbing systems, create punch lists, enter reports in software, and notify project supervisor of findings.
• Must understand the scope and contractual obligations of the project and report any issues to the Field Operations Manager.
• Requires timely response to emails, phone calls and any other communication efforts made to the employee in this position.
• Verify with subcontractors for correct plumbing installation routes and procedures.
• Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning in regard to daily administration of all functions and activities associated with this position.
• Demonstrates good judgment in regard to providing information and advice to the commercial operations team.
• Demonstrates good judgment in regard to escalating issues, which are beyond the scope and control of this position in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates good judgment in respecting the confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Seeks guidance and direction from appropriate members within the organization as may be required in the performance of responsibilities and duties.
• Consistently demonstrates the ability to recognize and deal with priorities in a manner related to high level administrative activities and duties.
• Uses available time during any workday in a wise and productive manner to maximize work efficiency.
• Spends reasonable additional time beyond normal working hours as may be required to meet project demands.
• Reads, responds, and takes actions daily on all emails received.
