About The Position

Oak Hill is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Residential Program Worker (RPW) to provide direct support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The role supports individuals in their homes and communities, helping promote independence, education, health, and dignity. Oak Hill encourages applicants without prior experience who want to enter the direct care field and serve people with disabilities. The position is located on Dogwood Road in Orange. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. (16 hours). A Med Cert is required. Internal applicants are expected to familiarize themselves with the position, including the commute, schedule, and nature of the group home or classroom, and are advised to contact the program manager before applying. Employees granted an internal transfer commit to the new position for at least six months before requesting another transfer. Responsibilities

Provide direct support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Provide personal care and domestic household services based on individuals’ needs.
Support individuals with personal and medical appointments.
Provide vocational services and support participation in community activities.
Supervise individuals within the home.
Perform other tasks based on individuals’ goals.
