Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of experience in residential services, with a specific focus on women's programming and substance use treatment.
  • At least three years of experience working with justice involved populations in a treatment setting.
  • Professional experience working with pregnant postpartum women and their infants!
  • A minimum of two years of supervisory experience, with a track record of building and leading effective teams.
  • An advanced degree (MSW or related field) is highly desired. A bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, combined with equivalent professional experience, will also be considered.
  • A commitment to serving marginalized and at-risk women and their infants, believing in their capacity for change and recovery.
  • The ability to handle complex and sensitive situations with compassion, professionalism, and a trauma-informed approach.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Chief Executive Director and Director of Women’s Residential Treatment to shape and implement agency-wide strategy, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the residential program.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team, including social workers, counselors, and residential staff. Conduct performance reviews, oversee training, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Develop, evaluate, and enhance internal programming to meet the unique needs of women in recovery, ensuring alignment with professional standards and funding expectations.
  • Oversee all case management and treatment planning, coordinating community resources and acting as an agency liaison with the Medical Providers, Department of Corrections, courts, and other partners.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents by overseeing building maintenance, licensing compliance, and daily facility operations.
  • Represent the agency to key stakeholders, including community partners, to build and strengthen relationships and tell the story of our residents' success.
  • Provide emergency backup and leadership to manage crisis situations, ensuring staff are trained and prepared to respond effectively.
