About The Position

Work Unlimited is seeking a passionate and empathetic leader to manage one of their adult residential programs. The Residential Program Manager will oversee daily operations, lead a team of employees, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered supports for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is for an individual who leads with integrity, values accountability, and is dedicated to fostering independence and stability for the individuals they support. Requirements

• Background supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential or similar settings.
• Experience with complex behaviors or co-occurring needs preferred.
• Able to lead with clarity and accountability while supporting employee growth and team cohesion.
• Able to remain calm, make sound decisions, and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust with individuals, employees, and partners.
• Able to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license (or transferable MVR).
• Ability to pass a DHS background check.
• Completion of pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in residential or human services programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the home, ensuring consistency in routines, expectations, and service delivery.
• Train, coach, and support employees in best practices, including behavior supports, communication strategies, and daily care.
• Collaborate with case managers, healthcare providers, families, and other partners to ensure coordinated and effective support.
• Manage scheduling, documentation, and program systems while ensuring compliance with OARs, licensing requirements, and agency policies.
• Maintain a safe environment through regular checks, staff training compliance, and adherence to all safety protocols.
