Residential Program Manager
About The Position
This position requires direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and prior leadership experience in a human services setting. If your background is not in IDD or human services, this role will not be a match. The role involves overseeing operations of 4-6 residential homes and supervising, coaching, and supporting a team of 30-40 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). The goal is to promote a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture, ensure individuals receive quality, person-centered care in the home and community, and communicate with families, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members. The position also involves monitoring documentation, compliance, and program performance.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree
- 1+ year of direct experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- 1+ year of supervisory or management experience in an IDD or human services setting
- 21+ years old
- Valid U.S. driver’s license held for at least 2 years with a good driving record (not including permit time)
- Ability to lift/transfer up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a reading and math assessment and meet all pre-employment requirements, including a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

- Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing staff
