About The Position

WasteXperts by Ally Waste, an on-site waste and recycling facilitator, is seeking a Residential Porter for its Foster City, California location. The role involves visiting multifamily properties to provide daily upkeep and janitorial services for building interiors and exteriors, walkways, stairways, common areas, tour routes, and parking lots or structures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with work beginning at 6:30 AM and ending at 1:00 PM.

Requirements

Available to work the stated schedule.
Experience providing high-attention-to-detail cleaning and facility maintenance.
Able to frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Able to work independently to complete daily assignments.
Able to work well with others in a team environment.
Strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Collect trash from interior and exterior receptacles and common areas as needed.
Pick up loose trash and debris.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop as needed.
Dust and wipe down areas as needed.
Wipe down interior walls and report when repairs or painting are needed.
Maintain the exterior and interior entry areas and tour route as the first task each day, and check them throughout the day.
Clean restrooms, including wiping surfaces, mopping, cleaning toilets and urinals, disposing of and relining trash receptacles, and refilling soap and paper towel supplies.
Maintain doggie bag stations by emptying and refilling waste receptacles.
Maintain dog parks where applicable by removing waste and emptying and relining receptacles within the enclosure.
Remove and dispose of animal droppings found throughout the property.
Report building damage or leaks to apartment staff and provide photo documentation.
Communicate with the Operations team about additional on-site WasteXperts services needed, such as waste-related repairs, pressure washing, or waste sorting.
Take before-and-after photos as needed for quality control.
