About The Position

WasteXperts by Ally Waste is seeking a Residential Porter to provide upkeep and janitorial services at multifamily properties in San Jose, California. The part-time schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. Duties cover the interiors and exteriors of buildings, walkways, stairways, common areas, tour routes, and parking lots or structures.

Requirements

Be available to work the stated schedule.
Have experience providing high attention to detail in cleaning and facility maintenance.
Frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Work independently to complete daily assignments.
Work well with others in a team environment.
Have strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

Collect trash from interior and exterior receptacles and common areas as needed.
Pick up loose trash and debris.
Sweep, vacuum, and mop as needed.
Dust and wipe down areas as needed.
Wipe down interior walls and report when repairs or painting are needed.
Maintain the exterior and interior entry and tour route as the first task daily, and check them throughout the day for upkeep.
Clean restrooms, including wiping surfaces, mopping, cleaning toilets and urinals, disposing of and relining trash, and refilling soap and paper towel receptacles.
Maintain doggie bag stations by emptying and refilling waste receptacles.
Maintain dog parks where applicable by removing waste and emptying and relining receptacles within the enclosure.
Remove and dispose of animal droppings found throughout the property.
Report building damage or leaks to apartment staff and include photo documentation.
Communicate with the Operations team about additional WasteXperts services needed onsite, such as waste-related repairs, pressure washing, or waste sorting.
Take before-and-after photos as needed for quality control.
