About The Position

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's (Direct Care Professional) for a part-time position. UCP Heartland offers a positive, team-driven, work environment at $20.00/Hour. The available schedule is for Thursday and Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM, totaling 12 hours weekly. As a DSP (Direct Care Provider), you will provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene, and facilitate fun activities. You will also follow medical orders and administer medications. Most importantly, you will provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings. UCP Heartland strives to be the provider of choice supporting people living with disabilities, and this role makes a difference in people’s lives 365 days a year. All UCP Heartland schedules/shifts are awake shifts.

Requirements

High School diploma or its equivalent (GED).
Valid Driver's license
Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
Good written and oral communication skills
Computer Proficiency
Reliable transportation
5-7 days of mandatory training at our corporate office Monday through Friday 8:45 AM - 4:30PM
