About The Position

Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as assembling scaffolding, surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint colors, and painting homes and businesses. The ideal candidate should be comfortable talking with clients to understand their needs. Ideally, you have experience with a variety of paint surfaces and materials, and are comfortable using hand and power tools to get the job done.

Requirements

Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan, to be considered for this position
Minimum 1-2 years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial preferred)
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and proper use of brushes, rollers, and sprayers
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, ladders, and scaffolding
Experience with drywall patching, sanding, caulking, taping, and priming surfaces
Understanding of different paint types and finishes, including interior/exterior applications
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients and coworkers
Willingness to work a consistent full-time schedule year-round

Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
