About The Position

Seeking an LPN or RN to work at our residential adolescent and young adult program in Kennesaw, GA. This is a Full-Time Combo Role, working 2 dayshifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and 3 shifts from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The starting pay is $28/hr for LPN and $35/hr for RN, with additional compensation based on years of nursing experience. There is a shift differential of an additional $3/hr on Nights/Weekends. As an RN/LPN, you will provide direct care nursing, administer medications, provide medical treatments, complete admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians. Devereux Georgia provides intensive residential treatment in a secure setting for youth, ages 10 to 21, who are facing significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual/developmental challenges. Our campus offers various amenities for outdoor activities. Devereux also offers the ASCEND career accelerator program, providing career guidance, coaching, skills, and financial assistance, including tuition coverage and student loan repayment.

Requirements

  • Completion of accredited LPN OR RN program and current Georgia Nursing License required.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
  • Weekend availability and holidays required.
  • Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class (hours are approximately 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM daily).

Nice To Haves

  • Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.
