About The Position

Seeking a dedicated RN to work FT night shift at a residential adolescent group home program in Kennesaw, GA. This role involves providing direct care nursing, administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engaging with the youth served and their families/guardians. Devereux Georgia provides intensive residential treatment in a secure setting for youth, ages 10 to 21, who are facing significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual/developmental challenges. The campus offers various outdoor activities for the youth.

Requirements

• Completion of RN program.
• Current Georgia Nursing License required.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
• Overnight availability, 6:30p-7am, every other weekend (Sat/Sunday) availability and holidays required.
• Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class located in Kennesaw, GA; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.

Nice To Haves

• Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.

Responsibilities
