Plumbing Mechanic
About The Position
Sobieski New Homes is hiring a full-time Residential New Construction Plumber to install plumbing systems in residential new construction, including underground installations, rough-ins, and finals. The role focuses on delivering quality work to win repeat business and includes helping train plumbing helpers. Plumbers typically work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime expected during peak periods. Compensation is competitive and depends on experience. Requirements
- Journeyman plumber license preferred, or at least 3 years of new home construction experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of residential plumbing construction.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to install water lines, water heaters, sinks, and toilets.
- Knowledge of applicable state codes.
- Good communication skills; self-motivation and a career-minded approach; willingness to mentor others; respect for people and their property; ability to work as part of a team; commitment to quality work and ongoing skill improvement.
