About The Position
The Residential Loan Operations Specialist provides comprehensive operational support across Residential Loan Processing and Loan Closing functions. This role calls for a high level of knowledge and proficiency to oversee complex loan transactions, ensure full regulatory compliance, and support secondary market activities while delivering exceptional service across all stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities
- Provide coverage and support across both Loan Processing and Loan Closing functions, including complex and difficult loan scenarios.
- Manage secondary market functions, including uploads, shipping, funding, reporting, and rate management.
- Perform ARC and CU reviews.
- Maintain and update RESPA Reform documentation.
- Oversee Title and Appraisal E&O, License Management, and Condo Association documentation.
- Conduct FNMA quality control and audit reviews, including QC/CD audits.
- Monitor construction loans and progress documentation.
- Provide backup support for manager monthly reporting.
- Prepare accurate and timely closing documents for residential real estate loans, including Prestige and Mortgage Development (MOD) loans.
- Coordinate directly with title agencies to ensure smooth and timely closings.
- Ensure all loans comply with federal regulations and internal loan policies.
- Utilize closing checklists to confirm all required documentation is completed, executed, and delivered to the bank.
- Work closely with Loan Processors to ensure seamless workflow, coverage, and timely loan closings.
- Assist Loan Officers and Originators with gathering and reviewing documentation required to process residential real estate loans.
- Track and manage loan files to ensure completeness and timely closing.
- Ensure all loans adhere to federal regulations and loan policy requirements.
- Provide a high level of customer service through effective communication with borrowers, internal staff, and external partners.
- Collaborate with the loan operations team to maintain proper coverage and backup support throughout the loan lifecycle.
