About The Position

The Residential Life Coordinator plays a vital role in shaping a vibrant, inclusive and engaging residential community at Monash University. Supporting both strategic and day-to-day operations, this position delivers impactful programs, events and initiatives that enhance the student experience. Working collaboratively across teams and with key stakeholders, the Coordinator provides guidance, support and exceptional service to residents, ensuring a safe, connected and thriving on-campus environment. This position will be responsible for assisting with the planning and delivery of a diverse range of events, programs and initiatives that enrich residential life, including large-scale activities such as Orientation, Open Day and themed community events. It will support complex administrative processes, project planning and implementation, including monitoring progress, preparing reports and ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes and standards. The role also involves providing critical support services, including responding to incidents, assistance with risk and budget management, and maintaining accurate data and reporting systems. Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential, alongside supporting the recruitment, training and guidance of student leaders. Additionally, the position will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and develop engaging promotional content to maximise participation and community connection.

Responsibilities
