Tilson Homes is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team in the Gulf Coast area as a Residential Land Preparation Specialist. This role involves meeting directly with customers, working outdoors, and driving around the Gulf Coast area to help customers build their dream homes on their own property. Requirements

Must have knowledge of state and county codes for well and septic.
Must have a valid driver's license and have a clear driving record for company vehicle insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

Marking out the location of the house on the customer’s property based on the information provided.
Researching and ensuring compliance with any local or state restrictions.
Facilitating land development activities that prepare a future home site for construction.
Meeting with customers prior to construction to discuss the location of the house on the property.
Identifying obstacles and requirements (state, local, FEMA) for the property.
Confirming the location of the property (city, county) and identifying utility providers.
Determining the location of house placement on the property and the need for utilities, well and septic.
Determining site conditions and coordinating site improvements as necessary.
Determining what permits are needed and obtaining permits.
Completing a physical stake out of the property and future home location with consideration of the property survey and shooting grade elevations.
