This role involves creating a nurturing and positive learning environment for clients, helping them develop coping strategies for daily living, and facilitating independent performance in social, emotional, and physical areas. The position requires active participation both inside and outside the home, including implementing individual plans, monitoring client progress, administering medication (once certified), assisting with appointments, meal preparation, and maintaining the household. The Residential Instructor must also conduct themselves professionally, participate in required training, manage agency funds, ensure client privacy, and facilitate community outings while adhering to agency policies and state laws.
