Requirements

Journeyperson Sheet Metal certification
4+ years of supervisory experience
Solid knowledge of Alberta HVAC and mechanical codes
Class 5 driver's license with a clean record
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to quality, safety, and mentorship

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate residential HVAC installation crews across multiple production housing projects.
Ensure all installations meet company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and local building codes.
Conduct job pre-checks to verify site readiness, plans, equipment, and materials prior to installation.
Perform routine field inspections and quality control audits to maintain workmanship standards.
Manage HVAC material inventory, track usage, and coordinate timely deliveries to jobsites.
Monitor project schedules and productivity to ensure on-time completion.
Enforce safety policies and conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and meetings.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to support performance and skill development.
Collaborate with builders, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
Identify and resolve installation, scheduling, or personnel issues proactively.
