Requirements

  • 2+ years of HVAC service experience (residential or light commercial)
  • EPA Certification (required)
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset—you don’t just fix symptoms, you find the cause
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Ability to work independently while representing the company professionally in the field
  • Comfortable using tablets or mobile tools for service documentation

Nice To Haves

  • NATE Certification
  • Experience with heat pumps, furnaces, and ductless systems
  • Familiarity with indoor air quality (IAQ) products and solutions
  • Comfort with recommending system improvements or upgrades in a service setting

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems (heating, cooling, and ventilation)
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and deliver clear, confident solutions in the field
  • Communicate with customers in a way that builds trust and keeps them informed (no jargon overload)
  • Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations with accuracy
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, efficiency, and indoor air quality
  • Recommend upgrades and solutions that genuinely improve customer comfort
  • Stay sharp through ongoing training and hands-on learning
