About The Position
This role is for a Residential HVAC Selling Technician in Englewood, Ohio, serving the greater Dayton area. The position focuses on diagnosing and fixing HVAC equipment, and then presenting replacement options directly to homeowners. The technician will be responsible for the entire process from diagnosis to sale and ensuring the customer is taken care of through installation. This role requires a thorough approach to every call, understanding financing options, and effectively communicating repair and replacement solutions to homeowners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of residential HVAC experience
- Universal EPA Certification
- Experience selling replacement systems in the home
- Comfort with financing applications and payment conversations
- A positive, friendly attitude
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and service residential HVAC equipment on every call
- Identify replacement opportunities and present them on the spot
- Walk the homeowner through each repair and replacement option
- Present and process financing so price never kills a sound recommendation
- Follow through from the sale to the install so the customer stays taken care of
