About The Position
Custom Air & Plumbing is looking for a motivated and experienced Residential HVAC Installer to join our growing team! As a Residential HVAC Installer, you’ll be responsible for installing heating and cooling systems in residential homes while delivering top-quality customer service and ensuring every installation is completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous residential HVAC installation experience preferred
- EPA Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC equipment safely
- Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Responsibilities
- Install residential HVAC systems including air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and ductwork
- Replace and upgrade existing HVAC equipment
- Read and interpret installation plans and manufacturer specifications
- Perform system start-ups, testing, and basic troubleshooting
- Ensure installations meet local codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer basic questions about installed systems
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Work closely with team members and installation managers to complete projects on schedule
