About The Position

Anchor Home is seeking a Residential House Manager to support adults with developmental disabilities and help them live fulfilling lives. The role ensures services are delivered efficiently, in clean and safe environments, and in ways that promote high-quality services and individual growth in choice and decision-making, community integration, relationships, and personal accomplishments. The ideal candidate demonstrates a personal commitment to quality, excellence, and leadership. This full-time role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., in Rosedale, Maryland. Pay is $21.00–$23.00 per hour.

Requirements

Active CMT license.
First Aid/CPR certification.
MANDT certification.
Non-provisional driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively individually and as part of a team with subordinates, other staff, and supervisors throughout the organization.
Acceptable criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

One year of supervisory experience working with the population served is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 on-call coverage.
Handle staff call-outs and arrange coverage.
Run the monthly house meeting.
Shadow and observe DSPs in the home, coach them, and provide feedback, including on shift start and end, medication administration, and morning and evening routines.
Respond promptly to emails and requests from DSPs and the administrative office.
Purchase groceries and house supplies and submit receipts weekly.
Review ICM daily for attendance, medication compliance, task completion, medication errors, and related items.
Verify medications in ICM.
Handle situations outside the everyday norm.
Coordinate with day program staff when individuals need to return home because of health or behavioral issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
