About The Position

AHRC New York City is holding a series of HIRING EVENTS for Assistant Manager and Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions for multiple QUEENS Residences. The hiring event is held every Thursday from 10 am to 1 pm. The specific address will be provided by a recruiter for qualified candidates. All positions include a full benefit package, which includes free Medical insurance.

Requirements

Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Required.
Knowledge of OPWDD regulations, Required.
Valid New York or Tri-State drivers license for more than one year in good standing, Required.
NY or Tri-State Drivers license Required for 40hr evening shifts.
Valid NY or Tri-State drivers license for more than one year, in good standing for DSP positions.
Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!

Nice To Haves

Experience supervising staff in a residential setting preferred not required.
Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.

Responsibilities

For Assistant Manager: Must be willing to work one day of each weekend; no overnights.
For Direct Support Professional (DSP): 40hr evening shifts: 2pm-10pm.
For Direct Support Professional (DSP): 40hr weekday & 30hr weekend Overnight shifts: 10pm-8am.
For Direct Support Professional (DSP): Must be willing to work weekends.
