About The Position

AHRC NYC will be holding a series of HIRING EVENTS! for Assistant Manager and Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions for multiple QUEENS Residences. HIRING EVENT: HELD EVERY THURSDAY from 10am-1pm. LOCATION: Recruiter will provide specific address for qualified candidates. POSITIONS TO BE FILLED: All positions include full Benefit Package, which includes free Medical insurance. See additional Benefit information below. RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANT MANAGERS: Salary $43,000 - $48,000 per year plus overtime when warranted and an additional $750.00 bonus upon completion and passing of AHRC NYC Defensive Driving class, if driving is required. Schedule: must be willing to work one day of each weekend...no overnights. 2. DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS (DSP): Pay Rate: $20-$21.36 per hour depending on position and residence placement. 40hr Day and evening shifts: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm...NY or Tri-State Drivers license Required. 40hr weekday & 30hr weekend Overnight shifts: 10pm-8am...Drivers license NOT Required.

Requirements

Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Required.
Knowledge of OPWDD regulations, Required.
Valid New York or Tri-State drivers license for more than one year in good standing, Required.
Must be willing to work weekends.
Valid NY or Tri-State drivers license for more than one year, in good standing
Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills.
Patience is a MUST!
