About The Position

Hughes Exterminators is looking to hire a highly motivated individual to fill a full-time Residential Evaluator / Outside Sales position. This role involves building relationships with homeowners by identifying their pest control needs and recommending solutions to protect their homes and families. The position requires strong sales and customer service skills, including relationship building, needs analysis, proposing solutions, follow-up, and closing techniques. The Residential Evaluator is expected to manage their sales opportunities, work independently with limited supervision, and contribute as part of a team while working toward short- and long-term sales goals. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Interact and communicate professionally with co-workers, customers, and prospective customers.
  • Meet with homeowners to identify pest control needs and recommend appropriate company-provided solutions.
  • Inspect residential properties for signs of pests, termites, rodents, and other pest-related concerns utilizing company-approved equipment.
  • Listen to customer needs, answer questions, and provide solutions based on the condition of the home.
  • Build relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Follow up with prospective customers and manage sales opportunities throughout the sales process.
  • Learn and utilize the company IPM Program to recommend solutions for pest concerns.
  • Explain service procedures, treatment options, and recommendations to customers.
  • Must have or obtain the ability to identify various types of pests and rodents.
  • Should be able to obtain state-specific licenses with the Department of Agriculture as required by state regulations.
  • Attend training meetings on a regular basis at service sites, the Atlanta, GA home office, and other company training locations as needed.
  • Use and maintain proper company-approved safety equipment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record and ability to pass background checks in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform duties required by management.
