About The Position

As a key contributor within the escrow team, the Residential Escrow Officer plays an essential role in facilitating real estate transactions from start to finish. This role is responsible for reviewing title commitments and ensuring the accurate handling and transfer of funds between buyers, sellers, and lenders. This position requires a high level of accuracy, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment. The Residential Escrow Officer will balance the financial and regulatory aspects of each closing while delivering a seamless and professional customer experience. Success in this role relies on strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage deadlines and competing priorities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Title insurance license required
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to review title commitments
  • Strong understanding of financial calculations related to escrow closings
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and general office software
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills within a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-Oriented: Maintains a high level of accuracy when reviewing title, financials, and regulatory documents, ensuring compliance and completeness in every transaction.
  • Organized & Efficient: Effectively manages multiple files at once while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality of work in a high-volume environment.
  • Accountable: Takes ownership of assigned transactions, ensuring all aspects of the closing process are handled accurately and within required timeframes.
