Residential Electrician — Solar & Energy Storage (Will Train High Performers)

About The Position

This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing residential electrical systems, solar arrays, battery backups, and EV chargers. You will master modern microgrid systems, own quality in the field, and be positioned for rapid career progression. The position includes hands-on training and mentorship on the latest NEC standards and premium clean energy technology, including Sonnen intelligent energy management systems. You will maintain high standards of safety, code compliance, and clean workmanship, and work directly with local inspectors and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to pass walkthroughs. As you advance, you will have the opportunity to onboard, train, and mentor incoming crew members. The role also includes participating in an on-call rotation for urgent evening/weekend service requests to keep customer systems running reliably.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on residential electrical experience.
• Valid Texas Wireman or Electrician Apprentice License (Journeyman or Master preferred).
• Strong aptitude for learning new tech quickly and mastering complex systems.
• High standards, pride in execution, and the confidence to troubleshoot problems on the fly.

Nice To Haves

• Prior hands-on experience with solar PV or battery storage.
• Experience with Sonnen systems is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
