About The Position

Over The Moon is seeking a Residential Electrical Lead Installer who is tired of shops that cut corners and is ready to lead jobs they'd be proud to put their name on. This role is for someone who respects their card and their craft, and is excited to mentor apprentices in a shop that actually develops them. We are a fast-growing residential HVAC and electrical leader in Waukesha, dedicated to white-glove service and the kind of work that brings homeowners back. Requirements

Wisconsin Residential Journeyman card (or higher) — required, non-negotiable
4+ years of residential electrical lead experience
Strong command of NEC 2023 and Wisconsin electrical code
Comfort with service upgrades, load calculations, panel work, and generator installs
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Dependable self-starter with leadership qualities
Excellent customer communication
Open to learning new methods and perspectives

Responsibilities

Lead residential electrical installs — service upgrades, panel changes, whole-home rewires, EV chargers, and generators.
Pull permits, pass inspections, and document the work properly
Train and mentor apprentices and helpers in best practices, safety, and Wisconsin code
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex install issues in real time
Ensure every job complies with NEC 2023 and local Wisconsin code
Provide a white-glove customer experience and represent Over The Moon with professionalism
