About The Position

The Salvation Army, Developmental Disabilities Program (DDP) is seeking Residential Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join their team in Bucks County, PA. As a DSP, you will be an advocate, mentor, and friend to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live their lives to the fullest by assisting with daily routines and community activities. Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to operate a standard sized van.
• Ability to obtain all necessary background clearances.
• An appreciation for The Salvation Army’s mission of service.

• Communicates with kindness and respect when speaking with program participants, families and staff.

• Comfortable utilizing computers and other technologies.

Responsibilities

• Providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
