Residential Custodial Technician
About The Position
Our goal is for Viking Lakes Residences to be the cleanest and best maintained apartment community in the Twin Cities, and we are looking for high-energy individuals to help us achieve that goal. Our Residential Custodial Technicians are an integral part of the resident experience, equally as important as every person on our team. Our newly-expanded, 375+ unit luxury apartment community features four 4-story apartment buildings, a standalone Clubhouse/leasing office, and a variety of first-class outdoor amenity spaces, and this is only the beginning. Requirements
- At least one (1) year of experience in the cleaning/custodial field.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and OSHA regulations.
- Basic understanding of typical cleaning methods and best practices.
- Comfortability and experience in working with basic tools and equipment needed to complete duties.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred site lead or supervisory experience.
- Preferred experience in customer service and interaction.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning of the community to include vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, window washing and waste removal.
- Conduct routine community inspections, interior and exterior, as well as vacant units.
- Track upcoming apartment turnover with internal staff.
- Restock chemical, liquid and paper supplies in all common areas, restrooms, and amenities.
- Follow manufacturer recommendations on floor, furniture, and fixture maintenance.
- Respond to resident requests related to cleaning and general maintenance.
- Observe and report facility damage, security concerns and other campus issues, as necessary.
