About The Position

Performs general and specialized custodial maintenance tasks throughout the casino building and facilities. The custodial maintenance team works together to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the entire Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel premises.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Professional conduct, including good attendance and ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of custodial equipment and its uses is preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk frequently.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to talk.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to focus on a single source of auditory information in the presence of other distracting sounds.
  • Ability to see objects in the presence of glare or bright lighting, under low light conditions, or to one’s side.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up equipment, tables, chairs, etc., for all bingo sessions, workshops, and special events.
  • Clean applicable areas after bingo sessions, workshops, and special events.
  • Work with the custodial maintenance team to ensure cleanliness of all interior carpets, floors, restrooms, tables, chairs, windows, machines, glass doors, blinds, offices, entries, walls, and other interior fixtures.
  • Dusting, waxing, and polishing all inside vertical and horizontal surfaces, including the outside of gaming machines and their bases.
  • Remove snow and de-ice sidewalks and walkways as needed.
  • Load/unload equipment and/or supplies as needed by the casino.
  • Submit written notification to the facility maintenance manager of any fixture or equipment not working properly.
  • Document all services, accidents or injuries, items needing repair, and tasks on the daily maintenance form.
  • Report all unresolved issues that occurred during the shift to the supervisor.
  • Attend all department team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as delegated by the manager.
  • Immediately notify the manager on duty or bingo manager of any complaints or concerns customers may have and bring the manager to the customer to achieve a positive resolution if needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
