About The Position

Washington Property Company (WPC) is seeking a Concierge for its Solaire 7607 Old Georgetown property in downtown Bethesda, MD. This role is crucial in supporting customer interest in making the community their home and retaining current residents by ensuring the community is a great place to live. The position is part-time, with shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm on weekends only.

Requirements

Minimum of two years of experience in hospitality, tourism, retail and/or residential property management.
Track record of building strong relationships with diverse customers.
Innate ability to leverage empathy and compassion to understand a customer’s needs, deliver outstanding customer service and solve problems.
Treat everyone with kindness and respect.
Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills.
An eye for detail.
A GED.
Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as the face of the community.
Help manage the hub for resident activity planning.
Answer telephone calls.
Address questions or concerns from prospective or current residents.
Provide support to the leasing and property operations team.
Assist with package delivery and other administrative duties for the community.
Work with maintenance and external vendors in monitoring building cleanliness, visual presentation, and security, responding to needs accordingly.
Ensure residents have an exceptional experience.
