About The Position

AJ Blosenski is hiring Residential CDL Drivers, including candidates with experience and those looking to start a career in the waste industry. Drivers safely operate garbage trucks on assigned routes to collect solid waste, follow route sheets or dispatcher assignments to service customers, inspect vehicles before and after routes, and interact professionally and courteously with customers when needed. Drivers may also perform other job-related duties as assigned. The hourly rate is $24.00 to $28.00, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Clean driving record.
• One year of local route driving experience or one year of residential trash experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
• Read route sheets and service each identified customer or customers assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine pre-route and post-route vehicle inspections, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers when needed.
• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
