This role involves supervising Housekeepers and Therapeutic Program Workers (TPWs) at our Developmental Centers (DCs), managing daily staffing operations, ensuring the implementation of Individual Program Plans (PCPs) and behavioral support plans, monitoring documentation, and investigating incidents. The position also addresses employee relations matters and ensures compliance with Medicaid (ICF/IID) standards, agency policies, and labor agreements. Environmental and safety checks, along with inventory management, are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 24 months' training or 24 months' experience in providing care to patients &/or in participating in development &/or carrying out of patients' habilitation plans & preferably for those who had developmental disabilities or mental disability, & in implementing & carrying out same.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Housekeepers (total of 9 staff)
  • Manage TPW and Housekeeping/Timekeeping Kronos schedules
  • Conduct house checks and work order follow up
  • Provide supervision to our Therapeutic Program Workers (TPWs) at our Developmental Centers (DCs)
  • Manage daily staffing operations including scheduling, overtime, leave approvals, & coverage needs
  • Coach, train, & evaluate staff; provide feedback & initiate corrective action when needed
  • Assign daily duties, coordinate transportation, & ensure coverage for appointments, outings, & activities
  • Ensure implementation of Individual Program Plans (PCPs) & behavioral support plans through active supervision & rounding
  • Promote active treatment & ensure quality services are delivered consistently
  • Monitor documentation, incident reports, & staff records for accuracy & compliance
  • Investigate incidents, workplace injuries, policy violations, & unusual incidents; complete required reports
  • Address employee relations matters at the first-step level, including resolving grievances
  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid (ICF/IID) standards, agency policies, & labor agreements
  • Maintain inventory, approve purchases, & ensure supplies & equipment are available
  • Conduct environmental & safety checks; submit work orders as needed
