About The Position

Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking a Residential Care Specialist to join their team. This role provides services to consumers with a MH, SA, or Dual Diagnosis in a 24/7 community-based residential program. Responsibilities include skills training on daily living, case management, assisting with transportation, observing medication intake, and documenting consumer progress. Computer knowledge and extensive documentation are required. The position requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and reports directly to the Residential Site Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid GA driver’s license with less than 5 points
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training and education on daily living skills such as budgeting, performing household chores, personal hygiene, social skills, and meal preparation.
• Provide case management services such as linking to community resources.
• Assist with transportation and observe consumers take medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and document consumer progress in treatment using designated format and within established time frames.
• Computer knowledge and extensive documentation is required.
