Absolute is hiring a Residential Boiler Technician to install and service boiler systems, including radiant heat, snow melt, and hydronic heating systems. The role involves installation, maintenance, and repair work, as well as keeping accurate work and system-performance records and maintaining an organized, stocked work truck. Requirements

At least 2 years of hands-on experience with boiler or hydronic systems.
Strong knowledge of tools, machines, and materials used in plumbing and HVAC.
Familiarity with construction methods and building codes.
Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR).

Responsibilities

Assemble and install pipe systems, fittings, and valves using tools and techniques such as soldering, brazing, and press equipment.
Install high-efficiency boilers, water heaters, and hydronic systems.
Keep detailed records of work assignments and system performance.
Fill and test systems with water, glycol, or air, and monitor pressure gauges to ensure proper operation.
Maintain and repair boiler systems during retrofits and service calls.
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to specifications using specialized tools and machines.
Review blueprints and building codes to plan and complete installations.
Keep the work truck stocked and organized.
