About The Position

Columbia Cottage is looking to hire a full-time Resident Services Director to oversee the clinical operations at our assisted living cottage in Palmyra, PA. Requirements

  • Licensed as an RN or an LPN in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Certified in CPR and first aid
  • 2+ years of managerial experience in geriatrics
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with members of your team
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Organized and efficient

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the clinical operations at our assisted living cottage.
  • Responsible for the overall welfare of the patients in our care.
  • Operate as the managerial designee in the director's absence.
  • Oversee the staff, manage schedules, requisition supplies.
  • Ensure that the medical records are maintained.
  • Complete reporting requirements.
  • Implement policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and manage caregivers, medication technicians, and Nurses.
  • Assist with the budget and the marketing of our facility.
  • Make connections with the residents and their families.
  • Address concerns in a timely manner.
  • Report to the residents' families or their physicians when necessary.
  • Keep the managing director in the loop.
  • Interview prospective residents as well as their families.
  • Coordinate resident move-in or move-out.
