About The Position

The Windsor of Savoy in Savoy, Illinois is seeking a Resident Service Assistant to support assisted living and memory care residents with daily activities, personal care, comfort, and safety. The role involves working with a supportive team and fostering a warm, caring environment for residents and families.

This is a weekend position with a day shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., scheduled either every other Saturday and Sunday or every Sunday. The position is approximately 16 hours per two-week pay period and is not benefit eligible. The employee must have availability to pick up additional PRN shifts when requested. Pay is $16.64–$23.80, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or one year of caregiving experience.
• Ability to perform vital sign checks, blood glucose monitoring, and other care procedures; training is available.
• Compassionate, positive attitude and a passion for helping older adults.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPR/BLS and Food Handler certifications, or ability to obtain them within 30 days.
• Must pass pre-employment screening, including a physical, TB test, and drug screen.
• Must be able to work every other weekend or every Sunday and have flexible availability to pick up additional PRN shifts when requested.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal or activity reminders.
• Help residents prepare for appointments, outings, and transportation in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and assist in emergencies as needed.
• Monitor and document vital signs and other health-related tasks.
• Mentor, train, and guide new Resident Services Assistants.
• Foster a warm, caring environment for residents and families.
