About The Position

Leisure Manor Senior Living is looking for a Resident Relations Consultant to join their team. This position is part-time, with scheduled hours on Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM. The Resident Relations Consultant serves as the first point of contact for all residents and prospective residents and their families, assisting the Community Administrator with day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand; and use hands to handle/lift objects.
  • The employee occasionally must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Additionally, the employee, on occasion, must crouch, kneel, or climb stairs.
  • Most work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
  • This position requires substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • Must have the ability to walk short distances.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for residents, families of residents, prospective residents, vendors, and deliveries.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls to the community.
  • Assist the Community Administrator with the distribution of community notices and legal notices.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure resident work orders are entered and completed.
  • Assist with inquiries from prospective residents about leases and application requirements.
  • Work closely with the Certified Occupancy Specialist in the leasing of the community and managing of the waitlist.
  • Perform leasing functions such as fielding phone and email inquiries.
  • Participate in ensuring common areas are clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Document thoroughly and communicate effectively with the Community Administrator regarding incidents involving residents or building security.
